Power Grid System Market In Subsea

The report covers the global power grid system market in subsea which
includes different components of subsea power grid system, types of
power supply sources for subsea power grid system, and other related
segments. It studies the extent of end use of subsea power grid
solutions in different application areas with respect to different
regions. It also analyses the market with respect to drivers,
opportunities, and winning imperatives related to the industry. The continuous depletion of existing oil reserves are forcing oilfield
E&P companies to operate in deeper offshore environments making it a
huge potential market for power grid system in subsea. According to BP
statistical report, the worlds energy demand increased by 2.5% in 2011.
To satisfy this increasing demand of oil and gas, oil companies are
seeking to unlock the full potential of wells in deeper offshore
environments. Hence, subsea power grid systems are vital to transmit the
power to the required equipment.

Indoor Location Market: Global Advancements, Market Forecasts and Analysis

In the recent years, there has been a substantial demand for indoor
positioning and navigation equipments in the marketplace across
verticals. The demand is surging in those industries that were early
Indoor Location adopters. With potential opportunities in emerging
verticals, there is good investment being done in the Indoor Location
Research, Development and Innovation by majority of the market players. Absence
of satellite signals inside the indoor spaces clearly indicated the
need for indoor technologies; hence Indoor Location devices came into
existence. The device manufacturers and other members in the ecosystem
made tremendous efforts to build a culmination point for the proximity
electronics, surveying systems and the informatics. They still strive to
bring greater possibilities in the Indoor Location system.

Bioinspired and Nanoengineered Surfaces: Technologies, Applications and Global Markets

Over the past decade, bioinspired
structures—ranging from various plant leaves, to insects, gecko feet,
crustaceans, and even butterfly wings—have been the subject of intense
scientific scrutiny. In many cases scientists have unraveled and
replicated the underlying physics and chemistry of these intriguing
structures, leading to the prospect of designing artificial
”nanoengineered” surfaces (NES) suitable for a multitude of commercial
applications. Initially these novel surfaces are being explored
specifically in terms of managing their interactions with liquids,
vapors, solids, and light. Nanoengineered surfaces promise to improve
numerous industrial processes as well as a variety of consumer products.
For example, commercially existent self-cleaning glass products—which
rely on superhydrophilic/photocatalytic coatings—are already generating
significant revenues. Within the next five years other anticipated
commercial market developments range, including Electronics—superhydrophobic waterproofing and oleophobicity for hearing aids, mobile communication devices, and nanotextured LCD panels for
retail displays.

Although GDP grew sequentially in the final quarter of 2012 for the full
year growth was only 0.9%, the economy’s worst performance since the
2009 global financial crisis. Growth of 1% in the last quarter will be
followed by a slightly weaker performance during the remainder of the
year, resulting in GDP growth of 3% for the year as a whole. The
electoral cycle and the football world cup will boost Brazil’s economy
in 2014 with growth forecast at 3.5%. Inflation picked up to 6.5% in
March 2013, this despite the relatively weak economy, and is currently
not expected to fall below 6% until 2014. Inflation will remain
vulnerable to higher food and fuel prices throughout the forecast
period. The authorities have looked to weaken the currency to alleviate
pressure on the manufacturing sector.

The anticipated recovery in the second half of 2012 failed to
materialise resulting in lower growth across the majority of countries
tracked within the Yearbook series. However, based on an improving
economic climate, growth within the global electronics industry should
gain some momentum in 2013 and then accelerate in the period to 2016. Since
the sharp downturn in 2009, following the global financial crisis, the
electronics industry has been influenced by a series of events, which
have not only impacted growth, but is leading to fundamental changes
within the overall structure of the industry.
