At the 2012 Computex Taipei (Taipei International Information Technology Show), held June 5-9 in Taipei, Intel announced its signing of cooperation agreements with local suppliers of touch panels, including TPK Holding Co., Ltd., Wintek Corp., HannsTouch Solution Inc., and Cando Corp., to assure ample supply of 13.3-inch and -larger displays used in ultrabooks. Tom Kilroy, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Intel, said at the opening speech that some 35 new ultrabook models will be launched in one month, with another 110 new models to be introduced later. More than 20 Windows 8-OS ultrabooks with Intel`s central processors will be launched soon, he added.
