In 2003, ERA was appointed by the UK's Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to address how RoHS compliance could be achieved in practice. ERA's work was fed into the European Commission's Technical Adaptation Committee (TAC) and helped establish self declaration as the accepted approach to RoHS compliance. ERA's work resulted in a number of new exemptions being approved and helped clarify the definition of several existing exemptions (e.g. lead in servers and network infrastructure). ERA has also provided technical advice to the Commission, UK government and EU member states on RoHS enforcement strategy. Most recently, ERA has been appointed by the EC to review the case for bringing Categories 8 and 9 of the WEEE Directive within the scope of the RoHS Directive. This document includes a license to make copies for supplier companies for them to complete the form and return the form to you. Pricing at various license levels is available.
