Now updated to include Lead Free PTH Rework, DVD-41C introduces industry specifications J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 and explains the concept of process indicators. Includes an animated examination of the invisible problems that can be created during rework -- to explain why it's so important to avoid unnecessary rework. Reviews each of the tools and materials for PTH Rework (including low-residue fluxes). Individual sections cover vacuum extraction of straight-through (round) leads; partially and fully-clinched leads, DIP and auxiliary heating techniques for large thermal mass boards and inaccessible leads. Details industry-approved rework techniques for solder defects, including solder bridges, icicles, and excess / insufficient solder.
DVD-41C includes optional English subtitles for hearing-impaired and ESL students, a Leader's Guide with Review Questions and Certificates of Completion for students who pass the written Training Certification exam. Licensed for unlimited usage at one facility. Time: 45 minutes.

You may purchase a Site License for use throughout one single physical location (including multiple buildings). Or a Global License, for multiple geographic locations.
After you mount these computer-friendly movie files on your PC or server, your students will have immediate, 24/7 access to our video-based training programs directly from their desktop. The video files may be played directly over high-speed networks or internet connections, or copied / downloaded onto local hard drives for playback on a computer within any licensed facility. You may even incorporate these video files into a PowerPoint presentation, or project directly from a laptop for group training.
OVT video files are 640 x 480 MPEG-1 (.mpg), or 320 x 240 Windows Media Video (.wmv) format.
