The Hungarian Electronics Industry Report provides essential market intelligence for all sizes of company from small enterprises to major global groups and for financial/management consultancies, government agencies and academia requiring a reliable overview of the electronics industry in Hungary. In terms of electronics production Hungary is the second largest producer in CEE with 22% of the region’s output in 2014, the country losing its leading position during the year following the sharp decline in the production of mobile phones since 2010. As a result communications and radar accounted for 14.5% of the total in 2014 (37% in 2010), behind computing (25%), control and instrumentation (22%) and consumer video (17%).
